I had a nice experience in Dingo , is located in a beautiful house that provides a good environment for travelers and volunteers, it feels cozy and entertaining. I was lucky I met such great people , volunteers ,travelers and the manager. I definitely would recommend it .The tasks were clear ,as well as the benefits .

My time at Dingo Backpackers could’ve been great, but agreed hours and tasks weren’t followed. Additional work was added on my day off, last-minute changes made to meals I’d planned, and there was poor coordination around guests’ dietary needs. Despite guests praising my cooking, lack of communication and added duties made the experience frustrating. When I tried leaving a review on WorldPackers, I was marked as a no-show, despite verifiable evidence to the contrary (reviews, messages). Of all the volunteer experiences you could be having, is this the one you want to spend your time doing?

Communication was very difficult as the volunteer didn’t speak English and relied on Google Translate, causing many misunderstandings. He left almost immediately after arrival, then was found hiding on the property without permission. This was unacceptable and unsafe. We had to ask him to leave. We advise other hosts to be cautious, as he did not respect agreements or rules.

My experience as a cook at Dingo Hostel was truly wonderful! I loved meeting travelers from all over the world, connecting with locals, and enjoying the beauty of nature around the hostel. The job schedule was always clear and respected, which made it easy to balance work and exploration. Riccardo was always respectful, kind, and supportive to all volunteers, creating a welcoming and positive environment. I’m grateful for this experience and would highly recommend volunteering at Dingo Hostel to anyone looking for adventure, cultural exchange, and a great team to work with!

PROS
-The house is nice and cozy, and the location is great.
-Riccardo is flexible regarding shifts and days off.
-Olga (manager) is lovely and always available to help.
CONS
-It's clear from the beginning that no volunteers are trusted. This results in Riccardo micromanaging everyone from afar (he's not in Georgia), even when things are working.
-The amount of work is much bigger than what's agreed upon arrival. Innumerable people were surprised that I was a volunteer, not a paid worker.
-No privacy: you'll be watched through the cameras often; your bed will be in a dorm with guests.

I left early as the experience didn’t match the role I applied for. The cooking/social position included shopping, cooking, cleaning, prepping breakfast, entertaining, and being constantly expected to sell to guests, too much for one person. Communication happened at all hours, beyond agreed schedules, making it hard to disconnect. Most guidance was remote, which added pressure. I’m sharing this so others can have clearer expectations.

Elizabeth is mostly Busy with her job and other personal chores she stayed really short time and she let us lose a lot of time not the experienced worldpackers she showed to be .
She left without notice after 3 days .
All the expectation are written in the description and a bit of personal organization is expected.
