Dharma
Dharma is located in a Beautifull spot in Chacahua beach, close enough to town but at the same time , far enough to be in nature and far away from noise. In a walking diatnces of 15 to 20 minutes.
We are constantly growing in services, cabañas and planting more and more trees, making spaces more green and confortable for guest and volunteers , for this reasson there are so many areas of work where we use help.
Dharma is a family bussines where you will be treated as one more member of the family, we are based in values, land conservation and eco-friendly procces for daily routines. We have a kitchen for guest and volunteers as well as frecuently group activities. Food gatherings are common and part of the Dharma expirience.

Un verdadero crack Kris y tambien su mamá que nos acogieron con los brazos abiertos. Experiencia totalmente satisfactoria si no fuera por que nos hubieramos quedado mas tiempo🥺
Kris tiene un restaurante en el pueblo de chacahua llamado Nanu en el que le hemos estado ayudando también y degustando la buena mano que tiene con la comida.
Experencia full complet, volveremos a vernos!

Kris es una persona muy amable, pendientes siempre de nuestra comodidad, apoyar su trabajo fue muy interesante ya que permite conocer mucho mejor el espacio local y conectar con otros voluntarios. Chacahua es un lugar muy hermoso, se disfruta mucho el espacio.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but my experience at Dharma wasn’t great. The place felt abandoned, and I had some uncomfortable encounters with locals and another volunteer who even suggested I leave. I really wanted to like it, but the facilities were poorly maintained—the kitchen was messy, and the tepee I stayed in was very basic and not clean. I even found a condom wrapper in my bed, which made me question the cleaning standards. If you’re not into a very alternative, hippie-style environment, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

We offer you to stay in a cabaña instead of camping if you could help clean it, you said you preffer cabaña. We usually have big camping houses for volunteers but gave you a cabaña for guest. Being hit by a hirricane category four couple of months before is not having abandoned things, it is process of reconstruction. It is a diferent story. Sad you cant see. The guest that where here at the same time left good reviews, hard to believe in the 12 hours you where here had time to have deep talk

Beautifully isolated location. It gets very hot during the day (stayed in December).
Don’t expect much social interaction. I wish this project all the best!
