Casa Jolanda & Helmut

We are Jolanda and Helmut, and we live in the countryside among the vegetables, about 10 minutes from the town of Villena. After retiring, we
traveled for several years and eventually decided to settle permanently in Spain. We have a small, cozy home and a large piece of land.
We only like to have volunteers from European countries. And the languages we speak are Dutch, German and English.
When you choose to stay with us, you will have your own place to sleep, on a normal bed.

We have place for two volunteers ! So please look at the calender !

We also have a stable Wifi connection for our guests.

Our family has expanded to include a "sweet dog," a 4-year-old Spanish Podenco named Tina. She generally roams freely on our property. If you treat her with respect, you won't have any trouble with her!

Due to our age and health, we need help with maintaining and designing the garden, minor repairs, construction work, and painting tasks. And also a little help with daily tasks in and around the house.

Villena is a town with 34,000 residents and offers a charming center with various entertainment options as well as many historical landmarks. In March and September, our town hosts spectacular festivals. We also have transportation available.

Note: for now we have enough volunteers untill next year. You can apply from the 17th of February 2026.

We are a very social couple, we like to have conversations about anything. As we have worked with volunteers in the past, we know exactly how to work with the volunteers.
