Carcassonne Townhouse
We are in the centre of a beautiful town, near the river and countryside. We have hosted volunteers from all over the world and love meeting people and hearing their stories.
We are a family of 3, mark, Rachael and Eve (6); we have a small Chambre d'hote and a little house about 70m away. Our volunteers have an ensuite room in the Chambre d'hote and we meet up on a regular basis. We have a housekeeper who helps us so there is always someone around to ask questions and have a chat with.

My experience in Carcassonne was amazing. The city is beautiful, and the location of the place is excellent. Mark and Rachel were very helpful and guided me through everything to meet their standards. The work isn’t difficult, but it can be tiring, so come prepared. Accommodation is comfortable, and you can buy your own food. Carcassonne is incredible, and I would love to return. The experience is definitely worth it with such kind hosts. Thanks Mark and Rachel <3

That was my second volunteering at WP. I spent 20 days at the stunning Carcassonne TownHouse. I felt comfortable from day one. Mark and Rachel are kind n lovely people, always there to help you with a smile on face. I can't thank them enough for for letting me to stay more days, for the delicious dinner, nice talks during the tasks and the tips to do around. TownHouse has a beautiful decor n Rachel has a really good eye for it! The house is comfy n has everything that you need! Carcassonne is wonderful to be in contact with nature. I highly recommend and hope to be able to return one day.

Summer was definitely a busy time at Carcassonne Townhouse, but Rachael, Mark and Eve made me feel like part of the family from day one and I can’t thank them enough for that. A special thanks to Mark for the delicious dinners, to Rachael for our lovely morning chats and to Eve for her energy and enthusiasm!
I also had the chance to properly explore the area and get to know the local culture more deeply thanks to the flexibility with my days off. On top of that, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to guests from all over the world—I highly recommend it as a first Worldpackers experience!

Mark, Rachael and Eve are a gorgeous family! I felt integrated and really enjoyed chatting with them. They gave me valuable advices on places to visit and activities to do. The work is scheduled at the beginning of each week and is super achievable, and I thank them for being very flexible so I could also organize few days trips. Carcassonne is a fairy town, perfect to those who love to be in touch with nature. The accomodation has everything you need for a long-term stay. Hope to see you again someday! 💫

Mark, Rachel and Eve are a welcoming family, I felt integrated. I really enjoyed the time shared at Townhose. They are respectful and nice people. The work is easy to learn and to do and they have patience to teach. I definitely recommend it and I hope to be able to return one day. The city of Carcassone is wonderful if you love nature.
