Canvas Atelier Hostel
Our hostel is on a typical Porto house from the XIX century that still maintains the original features and architectural details, such as the high ceilings and hardwood floors. Nevertheless, the house was renovated and has all the modern conforts. We have guests from all nationalities and learn a lot from each other. All travellers can share their experiences on our common rooms and backyard.
We are a small family-run hostel in the center of the beautiful city of Porto! Our hostel has three 8-bed dorms and one twin room. We also have several common places and a backyard where we barbecue on the Summer. There is also an arts studio as one of the owners is a visual artist. Our priority is that our guests feel at home and make the most of their stay.

Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado e tive uma experiência positiva. As tarefas e o hostel estavam dentro do esperado. As regras em relação à limpeza são bem rígidas, o que considero justo, já que é um hostel com grande circulação de pessoas. Como ponto de melhoria, uma comunicação mais direta pode tornar o ambiente mais leve. No geral, foi uma boa experiência. 🤍✨

Adorei viver a experiência no Canvas Hostel, ambiente incrível e confortável para quem está vivendo o trabalho voluntário, hostel limpo, organizado e bem gerido pela Daiana! Pratiquei inglês, fiz amizades e ainda aproveitei bastante a cidade do Porto! Thank you for the opportunity :)

Minha experiência neste voluntariado foi excepcional. Fui recebido como parte da família desde o primeiro dia. Tanto a Daiana quanto a sua mãe mostraram uma calorosidade humana incrível, sempre atenciosas, respeitosas e generosas.
Sou profundamente grato por tudo o que compartilhamos. Sem dúvida, foi o melhor lugar para iniciar a minha viagem. Levo comigo lembranças lindas e a sensação de ter encontrado um lar longe de casa.

This was my first volunteer experience, and now that it's over, I can say that I didn't make a bad choice. Canvas is a big family, and I felt at home from the very first moment. The host Dai and her mother welcomed me and were always ready to help me. I am grateful for all their advice and guidance. I made good friends with the group of volunteers. It was amazing to be part of this team and learn and develop skills to work in a hostel. I give the Canvas family a 1000 out of 10!

Estive no Canvas por um mês e meio ,mas sem dúvida, ficaria por muito mais tempo !!
Foi o primeiro lugar em que estive ao chegar na Europa , e não poderia ter sido melhor,a localização é perfeita,o Hostel é ótimo e super organizado , as donas (Daiana e dona Ivete ) são muito amorosas e receptivas, se tornaram amigas e o canvas um lar para sempre retornar e se sentir em casa .
E você leitor ,que está vendo isso,se está se sentindo inseguro ou com medo de se arriscar em conhecer a Europa , eu digo uma coisa , se arrisque , sonhe grande e vá ! O mundo é muito grande para vivermos com medo🌎❤️
