I really enjoyed my time here — the place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was a great experience overall and I felt very comfortable staying here. Unfortunately, our collaboration ended about two weeks earlier than planned, which left me in a bit of a difficult situation at first, but I still appreciate the time I spent here and everything I got to see on the island.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place to other travelers who want to enjoy nature and a calm atmosphere.

It was great having Jacorb, he was a great helper, but unfortunately my 92 year old mother took ill meaning we needed to care for her and be away since then she passed away making it very difficult. Thankyou for under standing.

If you want peaceful time in nature, doing basic gardening and connecting with locals, then this is the place for you. We went on a lot of northland adventures and then there’s always beautiful Paihia just a walk/bike ride away. I recommend sunrise swims and exploring as much of the area as possible with bike, kayak or on foot.

Jillian and Stefan are good people who will make you feel right at home.

Stefan and Jillian were truly wonderful. They tried to make everything happen for me that a tourist could do around here. I might even have seen more than the locals around here.
Working hours were less than expected and punctuated by nice talks about all kinds of stuff over a cup of tea. Stefan also made sure that work was fun and do-able.
Thanks Stefan and Jillian for giving me a temporary home away from home :)

Stefan and Jillian are very nice people, always helpful and try to make you feel at home. They also took me to many places, introduced me to many locals, and showed me real New Zealand life.
The work itself was not difficult, and Stefan always tried to adjust it to my interests and skills. On top of that, he is also a passionate photographer, so I have many photos as memories of my stay. I had a really great time there. Thank you so much, Stefan and Jillian.

I had a priceless experience during staying with Stefan and Jillian! They are really nice and warm-hearted people.. Working was not hard and I always enjoyed working with Stefan and Garden. Stefan and Jillian took me to many amazing places and I met lovely people..! I learned many things from them and It affected me a lot in a good way! I really appreciate to Stefan and Jillian for making my travel special..
