Auberge de nos Aieux

We are so lucky to be located in the most beautiful region of Quebec! Our Auberge is not just a regular hostel, its more like a home. When people come to volunteer, they end up staying way longer than originally expected because they fall in love with the location and of course, the people. The same can be said about guests too! Some come as guests and stay as volunteers or staff. There is a magic that happens while you're there. A great sense of community that makes you feel at home and accepted and for a lot of people that is priceless!

We have a mix of staff and volunteers. Everyone works as a team to get done whatever tasks need to be done to ensure that everything runs smoothly and guests are happy. We work hard but we enjoy it because the pleasures that we get to experience on our down time is worth it! The big communal dinners, the 5 a 7 in the evening, the spontaneous jam session, the wonderful bonfire. All the work is worth it for those moments.
