The course is the easiest way to get an overview of what you want to use Worldpackers for and what type of work suits you best. It also gives you an idea of what to expect and how to most easily guide yourself through different situations you may encounter. The course is simple, and I recommend everyone to start with it before moving on to anything else.

It's really nice having som general knowledge and awareness of what to expect when using Wordlpackers! The mentor was very well spoken and structured and it was overall a really good course. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because there maybe could've been some more graphics or visual examples in the video <3

A wonderful short course on the basics of travel volunteering; the delivery is clear and easily comprehensible. The only small thing I wish was mentioned is how to keep yourself safe as a volunteer in case of violent discrimination from a host. We currently live in such a world where people have progressively become more homo-/trans-/xenophobic/ableist/misogynistic and violent in the last few years, and a mere attempt at verbal communication is not enough to keep oneself safe, and it's important to know what resources there are and what help one can get in such an unfortunate situation.

It was thoroughly structured and very easy to follow, even if English isn’t your mother tongue. Some of the information could be understood as common knowledge, but it’s good to be reminded of everything and I think most people will find something useful in there!

This Course is a great starting point for anyone new to volunteering through the platform. It clearly explains how Worldpackers works, what hosts expect, and how to prepare for your first experience.
