Overall this host was a great fit for me. Though it might not be for everyone. While I was there, there was only one other helper and you sleep in a 12 bed dorm that is mixed with guests and staff. There is WiFi and hot water which was great and you work on your own once your trained so you know your tasks.

Keri did an excellent job managing the hostel for us. It is fairly slow in the winter so we abdicated all responsibility for the hostel to her and one other volunteer. She kept the place clean and neat, made guests breakfast in the morning, checked in the guests and helped them navigate Niagara Falls in the freezing cold winter. Even though we were slow, Keri took the initiative to find things that needed to be cleaned or improved upon. She was always willing to do special projects and help out whenever we asked.

Thank you so much, I had a great time and you two where great hosts, I do better unsupervised more then micro managed so it was a great fit for both of us.

If you come to Niagara you will have a great time helping here, it is close to the bus as well as the market. The falls are about a 25 min walk around a small town feel sort of place. Carroll and Andre are great hosts. I love that they did not micro manage us. We were given tasks that they wanted done that day mainly cleaning and checking in guests. The hostel is an older home with 4 guest rooms some private rooms some dorms. It is very relaxed and not a party hard place which was great for me to unwind after some long travels.
