Détails du programme

This program immerses volunteers in a five-day-a-week English teaching experience across kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and vocational schools in Tetebatu. Participants help students build confidence and communication skills while contributing to community initiatives, including sustainable farming, local craftmaking, cultural exchanges, cleanup projects, and tree planting. The program blends education, rural development, and cultural discovery, offering hands-on teaching practice, collaboration with local teachers, and meaningful engagement with village life. Volunteers also enjoy activities such as cooking traditional cuisine, learning coffee processing, exploring nature sites, and joining community ceremonies. Designed for those passionate about education and cultural immersion, the program supports long-term community growth and empowers students while providing a rich, authentic experience in Tetebatu’s natural and cultural environment.

Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation
Arrival at base camp
Program briefing and introduction to local customs and guidelines

Day 2 – Teaching & Coconut Oil Making
08:00–11:30: English teaching at elementary, junior high, and vocational schools
13:00–16:00: Coconut oil making with local residents
Evening: Dinner + optional zikiran

Day 3 – Teaching & Bamboo Craft
08:00–11:30: English teaching at kindergarten, elementary, and junior high schools
13:00–16:00: Learning traditional bamboo crafts
Evening: Dinner + optional zikiran

Day 4 – Teaching & Rice Field Farming
08:00–11:30: English teaching across multiple schools
13:00–16:00: Farming activities in rice fields
Evening: Dinner + optional zikiran

Day 5 – Teaching & Traditional Cooking
08:00–11:30: English teaching
13:30–16:00: Cooking traditional Lombok dishes
Evening: Dinner + youth discussion / optional zikiran

Day 6 – Teaching, Clean-Up & Tree Planting
08:00–11:30: English teaching
13:00–16:00: Community clean-up and tree planting
Evening: Dinner + optional zikiran

Days 7 & 8 – Cultural & Adventure Days (Mandatory)
Coffee roasting, brewing, and tasting
Coconut oil making practice
Traditional weaving (nyensek)
Monkey Forest exploration and wildlife observation
