Opan's friends and family are incredibly kind and cool people; I felt comfortable with them from day one. The food is delicious, the rooms are nice and well-kept, and besides the teaching, Opan organized some truly amazing programs for us. The English classes have a great atmosphere, and the children are very polite and enthusiastic. It's clear that Opan and his friends put their heart and soul into this project!

My experience at the project was truly amazing. From the very beginning I felt welcomed and supported by the host and the team. The place is beautiful, surrounded by rice fields. Opan (the owner) and his friends and family are really very nice people with huge hearts . Special thanks to Auntie Diana for being such a great chef and cook all meals for us sooo tasty ! The tasks were well organized, communication was clear, and there was always mutual respect. Kids were adorable, I was teaching them 2hours/day. I would absolutely recommend this experience!! I absolutely loved my time in the project! Every thing is very flexible with the volunteering and hours of “work”. Opan and his friends are also so lovely! In the freetime you'll have the time to explore waterfalls and area! I would have stayed longer if I didn't have a pre booked onward ticket. It's also so inspiring to see what they do for their local community, with permaculture projects and learning kids english! Absolutely recommend!

I managed to meet Opang and really make the difference teaching English to local children. During my free time oppang managed to organize a lot of activities for me and for the other World Packers where we discovered the local people and see all the beautiful things of the Lombok island. I meet good friends and I will definitely come back. I felt like making really the difference

I had a great time volunteering at rinjani terrace! It was really interesting to learn about it permaculture and sustainable farming, as well as integrating with local village life. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I was invited to so many fun events and trips. The work is not too strenuous and very flexible, I even had the chance to teach English at the school next door. Overall I would definitely recommend this to people looking for a local experience and becoming part of a family in Lombok while learning about sustainability!

Joanna was an amazing volunteer!
She was always helpful, respectful, and willing to learn. She worked well with the team and brought a positive energy to our project. We really appreciated her hard work in the garden and around the property. We would happily host her again. Highly recommended!
