Volunteers are expected to work in line with Garden Library Uganda’s objectives of promoting education, a strong reading culture, and digital skills. Any activity representing our organization should be done in conformity with official guidance. We encourage volunteers to respect our values, local culture, and community life. While here, you’ll experience the simplicity of real African living — using local means, sharing local food, and adapting to our way of life. Please come with an open mind and heart, not expecting a Western lifestyle in Uganda.
