Fue mi primer voluntariado y no pudo haber sido mejor, las instalaciones, los compañeros y sobre todo Julieta, Kito y Susie hacen que the hostel sea un lugar muy acogedor, un segundo hogar. Gracias infinitas a Julieta y Kito por su gran disposición siempre y por cada cosa, Julieta nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo y más! Y Kito siempre haciéndote sentir en casa con la mejor actitud. Las tareas no son complicadas y los horarios son tranquilos y flexibles. La ciudad es pequeña y fácil de conocer en bicicleta. El surf y las personas que se van a encontrar ahí lo hacen un paraíso al cual volver! Gracias

El hostel, es un lugar en donde jamás te sentirás solo, kito y Julieta son unos grandes anfitriones y especialmente grandes personas que en el tiempo que estuvimos en el hostel me hicieron sentir como en casa. El ambiente es increíble, un ambiente en donde no existen diferencias entre naciones sino que existen personas con una historia para contar y eso lo hace más que especial, tanto los huéspedes, amigos del hostel y voluntarios hacen que ohanlau sea especial y distinto a cualquier otro hostel, una experiencia que recomiendo y espero volver a vivir algún día

Mi estadía en el hostel fue increíble, es un lugar hermoso donde te reciben con mucho amor, siendo el ambiente muy acogedor. Kito y Julieta son personas extraordinarias muy cariñosas y atentas, además, siempre están dispuestos a enseñarte algo. Las tareas son simples y los horarios son flexibles, por ende se puede conocer muy bien Itanhaem. Mi experiencia fue genial, totalmente recomendado😉

The hostel is located in a quiet town, and during the winter not many guests, common during this season at the seaside. Despite this you have thighs to do and people to meet in Itanhaem. The hostel is working together with Soul Surf charity and you have the opportunity to learn or improve your surfing skills. Try out foot-volley. As I am a passioned martial art practitioner I could train Brazilian Ju-Jitsu in the 9-9 dojo, 3 minutes walk from the hostel.

I had an unforgettable first stay at the hostel. I arrived very anxious and left with much more confidence and resources than I would have believed. Kito really helped me when I was sick and reassured me and comforted me in the idea of ​​having made the decision to go traveling alone. Juliet is adorable and she really likes to chat with the volunteers. She is a very nice person. Suzie will remain the queen of this Hostel. I had to confront lifestyles completely different from those I am used to in France, so I had to adapt and I came out of it grown. Amazing people, thank you!!!!

Great opportunity for a break of the stressful everyday life, to relax and concentrate on surfing. The tasks were truly simple and straightforward. We rarely had to work 5 hours a day! Julieta and Kito are both extremely social and friendly. They try to make sure you have a good time and feel comfortable.

I absolutely recommend this hostel, I had the best time and the owners were the friendliest, most welcoming people ever. They are incredibly genuine and kind people that I'm so glad I got to meet! I took part in so many amazing opportunities, such as going on a surfing trip, paragliding over Peruíbe and assisting in a surf lesson for the kids of soul surf the social project. The landscapes of Itanhaém are incredible and it is very peaceful being present there. An all around incredible experience and one I won't be forgetting anytime soon.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! I really felt like it was home during my stay, since Kito, Julietta and Susu were the kindest & sweetest host. I had my best time there and got to learn a lot and I had the chance to go to an English class with Kito, which was great to see, what kind of influence it had on the kids with this social project. Also, I had the chance to integrate with the local people there which was amazing. If you are into surfing and surf-skateboarding this is definitely the place to go! Thank you so much Kito, Julieta & Susu ♥️ I would love to come back & visit you.

I had a very good experience at this hostel! You just cannot dislike the host (if you do then you might be the problem), he's just very sweet and kind, and makes the whole place comfortable and cozy! In the winter season, there is not that much going on in the hostel, but this gave us the opportunity to hang out more with the locals and go surfing, and just hangout with a nice evening fire at the hostel. Also their surf skateboards are very cool!!! All in all I can just recommend this place and I hope I get the chance to visit once again to say Hi!:)

Mi estadía en el hostel Ohalu fue de lejos increíble. Todo el tiempo sentí que estaba como viviendo en una familia, tanto con los hosts como con los otros voluntarios. Tuve la oportunidad de ser parte de la vida local, conocer personas increíbles, aprender sobre su cultura, su idioma y además estar cerca de paisajes increíbles. El supermercado, restaurantes, farmacias, barberías, papelerías, etc. Todo está súper cerca. Kito y Julieta son los mejores hosts, están dispuestos a ayudar con todo, dan horarios flexibles y saben escuchar. Volvería mil veces
