L'expérience

How are olives harvested to produce exceptional extra virgin olive oil?
You can find out with us!

The work is hard, but fun and stimulating. The days will be full, so there will be two days off.

You'll sleep in a camper (for two). We host two volunteers at a time; it's best if they know each other.

You have access to the kitchen with plenty of food; you can cook your own food in the evenings, but we'll eat breakfast and lunch together.

Détails du programme

We'll have breakfast together around 7:00-7:30.
We'll head to the fields where we have the olive trees and begin harvesting.
At 10:00, we'll take a 20-minute break.
We'll stop to eat in the fields, under the beautiful olive trees, at around 12:30, for an hour.
We'll finish harvesting around 15:30 - 16:00 and then head home.

The work will be divided between those who use tools to harvest the olives and those who move the nets and collect the olives in the crates.

Once we get home, we'll be completely free to do our own thing, rest, and enjoy the place.

Activités et horaires

A day in the field can be tiring, but if you choose this position, we're sure you enjoy working your body, pushing your limits, and challenging yourself.

It's teamwork; we all start and finish together. Our main goal is always to have fun and feel good!

We can explain all the details of this work and the secrets to making the best oil ever!

The harvest may take a few days off to transplant and sow crops in our food forest.

If it rains, we'll certainly find something to do in our permaculture project.

Règles

It's essential to have field boots and comfortable clothing. Bring a rain jacket and warm clothing, as October can sometimes be very cold. Don't forget your sleeping bag!

There are no rules to add; we always use common sense and teamwork, and everything will be as beautiful and fun as ever.
