Hi everyone!

I’m Ivan, 49, artist and founder of a unique nature & culture project in Solin, Croatia. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been building a creative and sustainable space in the forest – a place to live simply, work with your hands, and reconnect with nature and yourself.

Now, I’m looking for volunteers to join our small forest family and help keep the project alive and growing.

What we offer:
🏕 Accommodation (tents in summer / forest huts in winter)
🍲 Daily food – shared meals or cook on your own
🔥 Evenings with music & poetry by the fire
🌱 Workshops: stone carving, eco-building, gardening & more
🌍 A peaceful, open space to grow and contribute

Your possible tasks:

Everyone Has a Place – Flexible Roles in Our Forest Project 🌿

At our nature & culture project in Solin, Croatia, we believe that no two people are the same – and that’s exactly what makes a strong and vibrant community.

There are many different tasks here, and we welcome individuals from all backgrounds, skills, and energy levels. Whether you're hands-on and love building, prefer quiet work in the garden, enjoy cooking for a group, or feel at home organizing or promoting projects – there's something meaningful for everyone.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all roles. Instead, we take time to get to know each person, understand their interests and personality, and then create a flexible plan that suits both you and the needs of the land. This way, work becomes more natural and enjoyable – not a burden.

Some volunteers thrive in creative tasks like stone carving or art, others enjoy manual work, and some feel best when helping with meals or organizing events. You can even switch roles during your stay as you grow and explore new sides of yourself.

In the forest, your character matters more than your CV. Respect, self-responsibility, and a willingness to contribute are what count the most.

Together, we create a shared space where everyone can give in their own way – and receive just as much back. 💚

At our forest project in Solin, we don’t believe in strict rules or rigid systems. But to keep this space healthy, peaceful, and meaningful for everyone, there are a few core principles we live by:

Respect for each other, the land, the animals, the local community, and the space we share. This includes being mindful of noise, mess, and how our actions affect others and nature.

🌍 Tolerance – Without Conditions

We welcome people from all cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. Everyone should feel safe and accepted here. Intolerance, discrimination, or aggressive behavior have no place in this project.

💚 A Healthy Approach to Life
