La the project is an amazing place. Surrounded by three volcanoes, cats, dogs, birds, trees, and fruit plants, it feels full of life. Chef Javi is a wonderful host — always happy to share his delicious recipes and food. I can't wait to return and help with the garden and food project.

Being a volunteer at the project has been one of the best decisions I could have made. I had a really good time with Chef , Ruben & pets If you have the chance to go there you won't regret I promise 🫶🏼

El proyeto fue mi primer voluntariado y no existe otra mejor manera para empezar. Javi y Ruben son muy atentos y buscan el bienestar el proyeto voluntarios. El lugar es hermoso con una vista espectacular al proyeto agua, fuego y Acatenango. Tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir nuestras experiencias culinarias y aprender de Javi y su huerta. Es una experiencia que recomiendo se den la oportunidad de vivir.

Mi experiencia en el proyeto fue muy linda, el lugar es hermoso, la vista increíble, los anfitriones son cordiales y divertidos, pudimos compartir tiempo, disfrutar de la comida, trabajar en el huerto, pasear a los perros, en mi estadía había más voluntarios eso siempre lo vuelve más divertido, fue una muy agradable estancia

Mi experiencia en el proyeto fue increíble, la vista es hermosa desde la casa y desde la huerta. Javier sabe un montón de recetas y tiene muchas experiencias para compartir, la tranquilidad del lugar y la conexión con la naturaleza es lo más recomendado. Te sientes parte de una comunidad que cultiva y cosecha sus propios alimentos. Los días de preparar y repartir "Sopa gratis" en las comunidades aledañas es una labor muy linda y es súper recomendada para que todos puedan ayudar y compartir con la población local.

Javi is a very kind and lovely giving person. He has a big heart. The home is BEAUTIFUL and the garden too. We had a really nice stay and it's so easy to get to Antigua also and the surrounding villages.

I had an amazing experience at the project. The work was good, the feeding program was awesome, and everyone was so nice. They were so accommodating and I would absolutely recommend.

Esta fue una experiencia fantástica en el proyeto, la verdad supero mis expectativas ampliamente, las actividades son sencillas como cosechar hortalizas, limpieza del lugar, ayudar para hacer la comida que se entregará a la gente en el pueblo. La comida de Javi y Ruben es estupenda👌🏾 una de las cosas que más voy a extrañar, realmente se preocupan por nuestro bienestar en la estadía en la casa. Experiencia altamente recomendable sin duda alguna

I read the negative review and must confess that I had some doubts coming here, especially because it was said that the animals were malnourished.I'went anyway, luckily! I had a wonderful three weeks. I felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Javi is an attentive host and likes to take care of it that you are having a good time by Introducing you to friends and guests and preparing delicious food. The dogs and cats are great. They are certainly not malnourished, but are well cared. The location is beautiful and working in the garden was a pleasure. I hope to come back one day.
