The family are truly enthusiastic to share their vision for their home, creating a place for people to come and experience Costa Rican life amongst its beautiful nature. I was well looked after during my stay, the house is lovely, and I had many days just to myself, planting flowers in the morning, swimming in the river when it got hot, relaxing to the rain in the afternoon and eating ingredients grown on the property. The small local community around the finca is so friendly, it's a perfect place if you're looking for a quiet escape in a magic part of the world.

Beautiful place where you really get to connect with nature. The house was spacious and lovely. There were rivers going through the farm that you could swim in, and fruits growing everywhere. The work was very interesting and fun to experience

This was my first worldpackers experience, and I wouldn't change a thing! This family is so welcoming and caring. They made sure I was especially comfortable, accomodations were perfect, food was amazing, and tasks were very manageable. They were patient with my extremely limited Spanish, and made my experience amazing. I cannot recommend the lodge enough!

It was really nice to stay with the family. They were really caring and fun! Their project was really nice and interesting. I'm happy that I was a part of it :) I wasn't the biggest fan if the location in the city, cause I was looking more for nature. But their property in the countryside was so, so cool! Loved it

Such a wonderful group of humans who truly embody the spirit of Worldpackers. I cannot recommend them enough. Paula is so caring , considerate and approachable, constantly checking in to make sure you're comfortable. Shirley and Alan are such kind-hearted, generous stars. Shirley is so inspiring (as a human, as a business woman, as a mother) and Alan is honestly one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet and a jaw-dropping cook. The accommodations are fantastic as well. I know I'll remember this for a very long time and I'm so grateful I applied here.

Muy recomendable. Son una familia encantadora, te ayudan a sumergirte en la cultura de Costa Rica a fondo. Alan y Shir son muy simpáticos y se preocupan constantemente de que estés a gusto, te dan a probar platos locales, quieren conocerte y que les cuentes de tu cultura. Sin lugar a dudas te acogen como uno más. Paula siempre contesta bastante rápido así que facilita mucho. Muy seguro y recomendable.

It was an amazing experience. The family is very loving and helpful. I highly recommend, I felt at home thanks to the family beautiful atmosphere. Work in Marketing hours were flexible, very good communication and pleasant to work with.

Un lugar tranquilo, rodeado de montañas y gente local. La familia anfitriona es genial, atentos y con ilusión por lo que hacen. Fue una gran experiencia, repetiría sin ninguna duda y doy las gracias de nuevo por hacerme sentir como en casa.
