I had such a wonderful time with Mar and James! They made me feel incredibly welcome from the first moment we met. They are sustainable and have an eco-conscious household. They have a wonderful property in Castlebar town & a cottage near Bunacurry (Achill). My volunteer work was split between the two properties doing gardening/house work such as clearing weeds by hand, clearing outdoor drainage, clearing paths, trimming plants, planting flowers; and moving furniture. They were both very open minded and I really did have a wholesome experience.
