We had a great month volunteering at the hostel and really enjoyed our time here! We met so many amazing people from across the world, we were invited into a wonderful community where there were events on every night. the hostel is right next to the beach meaning in our spare time we could swim/ surf etc. I would recommend for sure:)

Me and my partner volunteered here for 4 weeks. It was amazing to hostel is in the perfect location and always have an event on a night for guests to meet eachother. We met so many good people during our stay and couldn't recommend it enough for people looking to have a good time in Sri Lanka the hostel has a cafe on site which sells really good food to.

I had such a great time volunteering at Be Cool! The work was rewarding and fun and I met a lot of amazing people because of it. Both the people I worked with and the travellers I met really made the experience. I learnt a bunch of new skills and got to improve my surfing as well. Can't recommend a volunteer more. If you're good with a camera and have some editing skills you'll doing great!

Great experience! I had the opportunity to discover Weligama and everything that possible to do. Lots of parties, the partner school surf is nice. All day some people are at the hostel, so it's great to have some chat 😊

From the moment I arrived at the hostel I felt really welcomed by the host as well as the other volunteers that were there. The work we had to do was pretty easy and flexible when it came to the hours we worked and how we divided the work between the volunteers. I wish I could've stayed for much longer because this hostel, the people and Weligama have absolutely got my heart.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Chamath and Manza were amazing – from the very first moment I felt welcomed and taken care of. They kept everything clear and organized, yet created such a relaxed and friendly vibe. Daily social events made it super easy to meet people from all over the world and it truly felt like a family atmosphere. On top of that, I got to learn surfing (a dream come true!) and the flexible working hours gave me plenty of time to enjoy my free time. I'm beyond grateful and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering coming here!

I had such great time here. Manza and Chamath was so helpful and nice. Also loved my experience with other volunteers and im happy to have the chance to create my art on walls🙂 gonna miss here forever and cant wait to be back someday
