We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers that loves education and to be with kids at MyFarm and also to visit other schools implementing the Leap learning methodology.

Full training will be given! This is an innovation that is developed by MyFarm and scaled around The Gambia and also in 20 countries the world.

Description: 15 euros per night from volunteers to pay for expenses and help the project. This is covering your accommodation and hot lunch.

Activités et horaires

- You will engage children in interactive, self directed activities.
- Implement our Leap Learning lab based approach to boost foundational learning.
- Support teachers in facilitating the Leap-concept.
- Work-days last from around 08:30 to 17:00 with 1 hour lunch break.

Règles

Drugs
MyFarm adheres to national statute law regarding illegal drugs, therefore no such drugs are allowed onsite.

Smoking
MyFarm is a non-smoking farm. Volunteers that smoke must do this outside of MyFarm.

Alcohol
We expect responsible behaviour around consumption of alcohol. No drinking during the operational hours of the farm and no alcohol should be visible to visitors, students or staff to respect the culture. Inside the volunteer house can be possible when bottles are taken care of in private.

Working relationships
There are a number of different working situations here at MyFarm. We ask you to be aware of the different boundary-needs particularly relating to friendship e.g. it would be inappropriate to share personal contact information with a minor. Regarding potential volunteers with a criminal background, this must be indicated on the application.
