Unfortunately, no fault of the Hosts, my residence had a water break making my stay short. It was not determined what caused it before I left. The Hosts have a young family, and are proud of their one hundred acre farm (finca). They provided me with work cutting grass, and landscaping, but with only a week stay, there wasn't time to learn more. The Hosts were very accommodating with food and transportation.

I had a wonderful time relaxing in the mountains and the nature. This place is very rural so the solitude and quiet time was very calming for me (so be prepared for that). Duncan and Angie were very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed for a successful stay. I mowed grass, picked fruit, helped with small tasks and some deconstruction. Learned a lot about the life on the ground in Puerto Rico. The sunrises/sunsets were breathtaking. Overall a great experience!
