You’ll help manage social media, welcoming guests, assisting in the reception, and creating engaging content to showcase our unique experience. Join us for a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Northern Norway at our cozy motel and camping site in Kautokeino. During your stay, you’ll help manage our social media presence, engaging with our audience and showcasing the stunning environment and activities available.

As a volunteer, you'll also assist in the reception, welcoming guests, checking them in and out, and ensuring they have everything they need for a pleasant stay. Your role will include answering guest inquiries, helping with reservations, and assisting with general guest service.

We highly appreciate volunteers who are flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as needed, such as cleaning, general organizing or helping in other areas of the camp. Your contributions will help us create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests.

This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a peaceful, remote setting, surrounded by breathtaking nature, while gaining valuable skills in hospitality and digital content management. Whether you're managing social media or assisting with guest services, your work will play an important role in creating an unforgettable experience for our visitors.


Activités et horaires

Main tasks:

- Checking in and checking out guests with a friendly and professional attitude.

- Assisting guests with their questions to ensure they have a pleasant and memorable stay.

- Managing and updating social media to engage with our audience and showcase the unique experiences at our location.

- Engaging with guests online by sharing content, responding to comments, and creating posts about the activities and atmosphere at our campsite.


Additional tasks:

While your main focus will be on reception and social media, we’d greatly appreciate your flexibility to help with other tasks as needed. These may include making and serving breakfast, helping with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, or assisting with general organizing and tidying up. Your willingness to contribute to these tasks will be highly valued!


Schedule:

Volunteer shifts will generally be up to 4 hours per day, with 1 day off per week.

The guest schedule may vary, depending on the number of guests and the season’s activity levels. We aim to create a schedule that works well for everyone and ensures a smooth workflow. Flexibility and communication will be key to balancing tasks.
