El proyeto es una comunidad en la fría montaña, las vistas son hermosas, las instalaciones también, me pareció uno de los voluntariados más completos en cuestión de espacios para disfrutar. El trabajo puede ser duro pero interesante, sobre todo construcción y huertas, la gente es amable y casi siempre hay más voluntariados, niños, perros y gatos. Es una experiencia muy linda. Se disfruta, se aprende, se hacen amigos. Cobran una contribución que es variable a tus posibilidades.

The project is a really special place. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. All the community members are open and friendly. They support you whenever they can. My tasks were very varied and I learned plenty of different things during my stay. The specified working hours are always adhered to, so that you have enough time to explore the area and the surrounding cities. I enjoyed every day in the community and would definitely recommend it. I really hope to come back one day!

El lugar esta en medio de la nada, rodeado de naturaleza. Los atardeceres y el cielo se ven increíbles. Desde el inicio me sentí en casa, recibí una cálida bienvenida. Incluso los perritos y la gata me encantaron. Las tareas son variadas y interesantes. Hay mucho por aprender, bioconstrucción, huerta, permacultura, cocina. Más que todo, es la vida en comunidad que me gustó, el sonido de la campana cuando era el momento de juntarnos. Pude quedarme solo 15 días asi que no pude descubrir todo lo que quería, me faltó tiempo. Estoy muy agradecida por esta experiencia y me gustaría volver pronto!

Vivir en esta comunidad fue una hermosa experiencia, es una muestra de que otro mundo es posible. Las actividades estar muy bien estructuras y repartidas, el ambiente es sumamente respetuoso amable y lleno de cariño. En esta época del año llegaron muchos voluntarios así que pude conocer personas de todo el mundo. Si buscas conección con la naturaleza, un ambiente tranquilo y conocer un estilo de vida sostenible Riahnnon es tu lugar. Sin duda volveré pronto.

It is a beautiful place to be. Magical surroundings all around, with people that mke you feel welcomed since the first day. Everything is as stated in the platform and the hosts are very kind and flexible. It is a place woth many surprises that make it worth it and a beautiful experience.

Thank you to everybody at the project, my stay there was so amazing. Socialising with other volunteers, having nearly all the meals together, working and learning in the field, practicing Spanish (and English) - basically just a perfect volunteering place for a first timer like me!! Oh and of course the permanent family, what a joyful, harmonic, intelligent and funny group of people they are😊

The project is as much a family as any temporary stay is able to offer. From day 1 the permanent residents seem to embrace you with love and respect. After 3 weeks at the project I decided to stay for the full month. I could not get enough of the warmth, the space to develop oneself, the food/postres and the volcanic surroundings with beautiful hikes. At the project you quickly seem to earn the responsibility you deserve, and are very much a valued and useful part of the work team. There is so much enjoyable work to be done! I particularly enjoyed the bioconstruction. So fulfilling 😍.

Jaimy was a delight to have at home! He was always up to something: the adobe walls on the new building, baking bread for hours and hours, sharing his culinary skills! His kindness, respect and love will be missed.

I had a wonderful experience at the project. They have a well established volunteer program, so I think it is a great choice (at any time during your work exchange life), but especially for those who have never done a work exchange. Everyone is treated with love and respect, and they are so welcoming to all. They are also flexible and understanding.
