Being at the school was absolutely great and excactly what i expected as a first volunteering experience. With no experience in teaching its definitely challenging but with commitment you get the hang of it pretty soon. Also isnt a challenge excactly what one is looking for when doing an adventure like this? :D I definately recommend this experience to people how want to grow personally and experience the real life of Mexico!! 🇲🇽

The school was an amazing experience to have as my first volunteering experience. Polette truly cares for the wellbeing of the volunteers which added to the comfort of being so far away from home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Any questions you have someone will have an answer to. Texcoco is a perfect town to immerse in and practice your Spanish. Do check if Spanish lessons will be available during your stay to avoid disappointment as his schedule is quite busy. All in all it was a great experience and would highly recommend. Very grateful for the opportunity.

Specially the beginning was quite a bit a challenge for me, who didn't had any experience with kids or teaching. It was a plunge into cold water. But after some days i got quite into it and i really started to like it. The kids were rambunctious and sometimes annoying but also very sweet and just adorable. I also enjoyed the good and easy vibe with the stuff. Over all i definitely had a great time at the Weekclub the school and really recommend this experience! Just be ready for a bunch of kids xD

The time I spent in Mexico, teaching English, learning Spanish, exploring, and trying new foods has been nothing short of an amazing experience. Teaching the students at the school was easy due to the structure of the lesson plans as well as how nice and eager the students were to learn. Polette was a spectacular host! I truly appreciate all the teachers and staff who took the time to ensure I enjoyed myself inside and outside the classroom. I will miss Mexico, all the people I met, and all the friendships I made! I hope to see everyone again and would definitely recommend to anyone !

This was an amazing experience.Teaching English to kids and adults was very fulfilling. They have all sorts of pedagogical tools and games, allowing me to get creative during the classes. The house is in great condition. The cultural experience and the food went hand in hand—I tried over 60 different kinds of food with them (yes, I counted them). The people at the school are genuinely the best—Arturo, Abril, Sele, and Pollet. They make you feel like you are truly part of their family. I was invited to traditional family dinners and hiking trips. This was really the best experience I could have had.

I spent a very good time at the school! Everybody was nice and friendly and I felt like at home. The place is in a safe town not too far from Mexico City, so it's easy to get to the city center and it's not too chaotic

This was a fantastic opportunity and experience. Everyone at the school was incredibly friendly, accommodating and supportive. It feels like a family. You really are immersed in the local culture, foods, events, language, slang, customs. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching here. The schedule is very flexible. It is the perfect place to improve your Spanish and also native tongue. It is very close to CDMX, so you can explore lots on the weekends.
