Ale and Marc are incredible people. They received us very well. The house and the accommodations are spectacular. The town is amazing — a typical French village where you can walk everywhere. The work, at least the tasks assigned to us, was heavy and required a lot of physical strength: carrying weight, going up and down stairs. But if you're willing to do that, it's a very good experience. I know there are other types of tasks there too, like social media or cleaning. If you go, go with an open mind to work and to get to know a wonderful village.

Volunteering with Alexa/Sasha was such a light and joyful experience,she has an amazing energy that made everything feel easy and inspiring. MonsieurMarc was also a very kind and pleasant person. The days I spent there were truly wonderful. I heard a lot of French during my stay, which really helped me improve my understanding of the language. I genuinely loved everything about this place. :)

Estoy muy agradecido y contento de esta experiencia, la repetirĂ­a muchas veces mas. El trato de Sasha y Marc es increĂ­ble, son personas super amables, respetuosas y cariñosas, lo que hizo que esta experiencia fuese como estar en casa. Las tareas son sencillas, y por las tardes se puede disfrutar del maravilloso pueblo de Dreux, a demĂĄs de tener el metro a una hora de ParĂ­s. La casa esta rodeada de arboles y tiene un rio precioso con patos, con lo que es un lugar que relaja he invita a quedarse admirando ese paisaje tan bonito. Our experience with Sasha and Marc was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms and made us feel completely at home. They are warm, kind, and genuinely care about making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their home is beautiful, and it's impossible not to feel relaxed there. The work schedule was always clear and respected, and even though the studio renovation kept us busy, it was such a rewarding and fun experience. On top of that, Dreux is an absolutely charming city, with so much character and beauty to discover. We couldn't be more thankful <3

Mi experiencia de voluntariado en Dreux fue maravillosa. Sasha y Marc te reciben con calidez en su hermoso hogar, rodeado de naturaleza y junto al río, lo que lo convierte en un lugar muy especial. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, y los espacios comunes invitan al descanso. Las tareas son variadas: lijar, pintar, ordenar, mover objetos
 perfectas para quien desea aprender sobre remodelación. El ambiente es tranquilo, ideal para conectar con otros viajeros. ¡Incluso puedes visitar París en tu día libre!

I've been in Dreux as my first worldpackers experience, and it was lovely. Sasha and Marc are so kind and it was great meeting them. The tasks are mainly cleaning and reconstruction, and the amount of work is well balanced. Sasha is very patient and cooperative with the work. The place is magnificent, the house is huge and very pretty. Dreux is a beautiful but small town, but with 1 hour of train you can be in Paris. For me the others volunteers made a huge difference, they were lovely. I would recommend!!

Volunteering at Sasha and Marc's was amazing! The house is full of art and charm, with a river running right by and grapevines in the garden. I helped with painting, wood finishing, cleaning, and organizing — which I love doing. Some tasks needed pro skills, but I managed with a bit of guidance. Having a clear timeline would definitely help avoid misunderstandings and make the experience smoother for everyone. All in all, it was an awesome opportunity! I really felt like I contributed, and I'm sure future guests will love all the little touches we worked on with so much love. 😊

Working on Sasha and Marc's life project is a very comfortable experience, despite the work being intense, mainly focused on renovation, organization, and cleaning of the house. The entire space is very elegant, peaceful, and inspiring. It's located right in the center of Dreux, offering the opportunity to get to know this charming small town. Sasha and Marc are very kind and respectful of agreements. Speaking French can make communication easier, but it's not a barrier.
