We are looking for a hands-on volunteer to help with general tasks such as cleaning the bathroom, helping out at the bar and providing support wherever needed. It's a little bit of everything! Tente: Vous dormirez dans une tente sur un site de camping.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

We are a growing campsite located in the heart of Gerês, surrounded by lush nature, rivers and mountains. This is a life project that began a few years ago with a lot of enthusiasm and hard work, and each season we take a step forward to offer a welcoming and unforgettable experience to our visitors.

We are not perfect yet – and we don’t want to seem so – but we are improving day by day: renovating accommodation, taking care of common areas and maintaining the simple and human essence that has brought us here.

About the Vacancy:

We are looking for volunteers who want to join us on this journey, helping out a little bit with everything:

Bar service and support in preparing simple drinks

Basic cleaning and maintenance of bathrooms and common areas

Support in welcoming and receiving campers (occasionally)

Various tasks depending on the needs of the day

What we offer:

Free time to explore Gerês and reconnect

What we expect:

Good disposition, flexibility and team spirit

Minimum availability of 5 hours per day

No experience necessary, but a positive attitude counts a lot!

Activités et horaires

Volunteer shifts start at 7:00 am and end at 10:30 pm and vary depending on the needs of the day. Volunteers help for up to 5 hours a day, with days off arranged as a team. Some days the volunteers will be working in the bar, others in cleaning or reception – we try to keep a good rotation so that the experience is light and varied.

If you have a preference for working hours, we are open to talking and finding the best way to fit everyone in with a balance.

To ensure a good experience for everyone – volunteers, permanent staff and campers – we have some basic rules that must be followed during volunteering:

Always respect the agreed work schedules.

In case of delay or unforeseen circumstances, notify in advance.

😊 Customer service
Be cordial, respectful and attentive to all campers.

Maintain a friendly demeanor, even when tired or stressed.

Help with questions or direct them to someone on the team, if necessary.

🧼 Care for the spaces
Keep the spaces clean and organized, both those for common use and those for work.

Take good care of the park's materials and structures.

🧍‍♂️ Coexistence between volunteers and staff
Respect differences and maintain open and respectful communication.

Avoid excessive noise, especially at night or early in the morning.

Share common tasks (kitchen, volunteer accommodation, etc.).

🚭 Other important guidelines
The consumption of alcohol or substances during shifts is prohibited.

Unauthorized visitors are not permitted.

Pets must be authorized in advance.
