I had an amazing time in Kanazawa's K's house! One month just went by too fast.. Everyone was really kind and friendly, and the work itself is pretty chill, usually 2~3 hour in the morning and we have the rest of the day to explore the city. Kanazawa is very rich in culture, food and nature, and the hostel is very well located. I want to thank Higashi san for all that he's done for us, and also all the staff for looking after us and joining in our little adventures around the city. I made good friends there and i really hope to see everyone again in the future!

Had such a great time in Kanazawa. I spent the month in K's guesthouse and all the staff were fantastic, work hours and responsibilities were always respected and there was always something to do during our downtime. Would 100 percent stay again. Thank you Higashi san

I had such a good experience here!! All of the staff are so wonderful and fun and I also had such a good crew of volunteers. The work is easy and you all work together to get it done so it goes fast. Higashi-san is a great boss and always made everyone feel super welcome. I'm going to miss everyone here so much, I didn't want to leave! I would love to come back again and volunteer again

This experience in Kanazawa was one of its kind : chill, fun, relaxing. During autumn, this is exactly what I needed. The workload is very reasonable, there is a lot of free food included and Higashi-san is such a perfect host. Kanazawa is a lovely city too, with beautiful and interesting surroundings. Don't hesite to come at K's House Kanazawa!

I had a great 2 month experience at K's. Every staff was very kind to me, the owner also makes you feel welcome, he's always aware of everyone needs, you can ask anything you need. I saw many volunteers coming and going and we all made a good experience for each other. Great vibes truly. I was very lucky to find this place but more important, this people. Kanazawa is not in a rush like big cities like Tokyo. Also very good to practise japanese with the staff 😊. If you ever come, I don't think you'll regret it.

I chose Kanazawa as a destination without knowing how the city or Ishikawa prefecture was, but I am happy to have chosen it. Kanazawa is a relaxed and calm city with very interesting cultural points and a lot of nature, it is a city but at the same time it gives very rural countryside vibes. Taka is such a nice host, he brought us to Shirakawa-go, a very nice and beautiful village and he paid a couple times for our meals when we went to eat outside. The shifts are very flexible and not demanding. The staff is extremely nice and fun, we did many things together. 100% recommend it
