I spent three weeks with Vania, Felipe, and Kai. It was a wonderful experience; they truly make you feel like part of their family and are always available for anything you need. I learned about their family dynamics, and we shared conversations about mental health and different cultures. Kai is such a sweet boy. It took us a few days to get to know each other, but after that, everything flowed smoothly. If you have the opportunity, I recommend this volunteer program 100%

I had the opportunity to spend wonderful seven weeks with Vania, Filipe, Kai and the dog Yoga. In the beginning I needed my time to settled in and get used to everything but very quickly I settled in well because they treated me like a family member. Through the many great tips they gave me, I experienced a lot. I got out of my comfort zone and learned a lot about myself. I really enjoyed working with Kai because he is a totally uncomplicated, positive and active child with whom you can have a lot of fun :) If you always communicate everything and stick to the rules you can have a great time!

I had a really nice experience with Vania, Felipe and their son Kai! Being part of their family gave me insights of a functioning family life and the importance of your own role as you work to maintain the daily routine with Kai. Keeping an eye on him wasn't hard at all, rather adorable so don't worry about that. To me it was very inspiring to exchange thoughts and ideas concerning mental health, faith and self development for the reason that Felipe and Vania have courses helping with anxiety. Keep in mind that they are pretty precise with their rules so communication is key! Have fun:)

Staying with Vania and Felipe has been the upmost experience in my life. They are very caring, love to communicate and are truly good people. I have learned a lot about myself and the world and to not be scared to try new things and meet different people. Taking care of Kai was so much fun. He's calm and loves to play. Having the dogs for company was even better than I could've imagined. Working hours aren't much just six hours of playing with the baby and walking the dogs so there is plenty of personal time. The atmosphere at their place is so calming and welcoming. I am thankful.

It was actually my first worldpackers experience ever. And it was a very good one! Vania and Felipe really put in effort to make me feel at home. The work is very fun and not too much at all. It is a very personal experience because your part of a family for some time. I thought it was really special and am grateful that I could be part of it. They do have a curfew of 00:00 because of the dogs and kai. Which is perfectly reasonable but if you look to party or stay out late, this experience is maybe not for you.

I really enjoyed my time here staying with Vania & Felipe at their home/ yoga the host near Porto. It was a life changing experience! They're amazing hosts, I felt very welcomed & cared for like a second family in Porto. I really recommend this experience for other travelers who are looking for more of a personal Worldpackers experience. You do end up spending a lot of time with their family & are really integrated into their life so if this is what you're looking for then definitely this experience is for you! The location wasn't to far from Porto & it's really easy to get there through bus
