L'expérience

This is an old farmhouse located in São Miguel de Poiares. It is said that it was a convent, but no documentation has been found that testifies about that. Part of the house has already been restored and offers two accommodations, but the building includes old structures such as a threshing floor and a tank made of red stone from the region, a wine press, a 19th century chapel, a “levada" (water channel), bread ovens... everything needing work

Agriculture: Planter des cultures, semer des graines et aider aux tâches extérieures.

Peinture & Décoration: Aider à peindre ou décorer les installations de la propriété.

Ce que vous recevez

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Vélos à votre disposition: Vous pouvez utiliser nos vélos quand vous le souhaitez.

Transfert: Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre arrivée et vous emmènerons à notre propriété.

Cours de yoga: Suivez des cours de yoga gratuits chez nous.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Accès Internet Rapide: Internet haut débit pour travailler à distance

Détails du programme

The work to be done can be agreed upon when the volunteers arrive so that the work program satisfies both parties. Working hours are not rigid, and you can agree in advance to work longer hours on some days to have completely free days.

Activités et horaires

We want from our volunteers 4 hours a day, away from the hotter hours of the day, on the following tasks:
- repair, cleaning and maintenance of stone and wood
- mainly paintings, but also stucco and plastering
- work with lime-based construction plasters
- land maintenance (brush cutting, weed control)

We offer accommodation, with bed linen and towels included, and we provide the ingredients for breakfast (Bread, butter, cheese, honey, eggs, cow's or oats milk and coffee)
