Description: Program Fee: Contribution to support VEN's initiatives and operational costs, as well as transportation and support for your project. Accommodation and Meals: Comfortable lodging and meals throughout the volunteer experience Cultural Activities: Engaging local experiences to enhance cultural understanding If you stay more than one week, the fee is only 250$/week

Program Overview
Option 1: Story Creator Project
A focused creative journey for aspiring storytellers.
Pick One Topic:

🌊 Marine Life (Action 5 underwater work)

Creative Onboarding:
Attend a conservation storytelling workshop
Join a guided exploration around Da Nang & Sơn Trà to scout ideas
Plan your story concept with VEN’s support

Production Days (2 - 3 days):
Go filming or photographing in your chosen field
Receive guidance on framing, content, and technique

Editing & Finalizing:
Use VEN’s Technical Room to edit your work
Receive help with structure, pacing, and final touch-ups

Final Output:
A 1–2 min mini film or a visual photo essay
Screening at VEN Place + published online with your credit
Receive official certificate of completion

Option 2: Wildlife Explorer Experience
A light, immersive program focused on field exposure and guided creative exploration.

What You’ll Do:
Orientation & safety briefing at VEN Place
Quick training on using cameras (DSLR & Action 5 for underwater)
Field trip 1: Spot & photograph red-shanked douc langurs in Sơn Trà
Field trip 2: Dive into coastal marine life (snorkel-friendly zone)

Optional: Night walk to observe nocturnal wildlife
VEN team helps you select & lightly process your best footage

Final Output:
A set of curated photos and/or short raw video clips
Shared on VEN’s platforms with your name/tag
No story planning or full editing required

Ideal For:

Activités et horaires

We offer city tours (Da Nang) for volunteers to explore the local culture in combination with a first field trip to get to know the area.

Règles

House rules:
The use of illegal drugs or excessive use of alcohol and smoking is strictly forbidden.
Do not play with the extinguishers or smoke alarms! They are there for your safety.
Tidy up after yourself.
Keep the noise at an appropriate level.
Ensure lights and appliances are switched off when not in use.
Take care not to damage or lose any property in the common areas of the house.
Do not take friends or relatives to the shared house without obtaining permission from the host.
