The Global Connect Program aims to create sustainable educational initiatives in the Hoi An area, Vietnam. The program provides opportunities for international volunteers to support local students by helping them improve their soft skills and other essential abilities. At the same time, it offers volunteers the chance to connect with local teachers to learn about and develop effective educational initiatives.

Description: The program fee pays for accommodation, meals, in country support, and additional activities relating to cultural activities.

Global Connect Program Overview/Program Objectives:
Build Sustainable Educational Initiatives: Integrate extracurricular activities that help students develop soft skills and acquire global knowledge.

Collaborate with Local Education Authorities: Work with the Department of Education and Training to ensure long-term benefits for both students and teachers.

Foster Cross-Cultural Exchange: Create opportunities for international volunteers and local students to share cultural perspectives, fostering mutual understanding and respect.

Activités et horaires

Volunteer Opportunities & Roles/Teaching Soft Skills
Volunteers will help students aged 12–18 improve their soft skills (such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking) and provide them with essential knowledge.

Teaching Hours: 18 hours per week, focused on empowering youth with practical knowledge and essential life skills.

Women’s Language Empowerment Network (WLEN)
Volunteers will collaborate with the C4C team and local educational organizations to facilitate discussions on educational practices in both their home countries and Vietnam.

These exchanges aim to enhance Vietnamese teachers’ understanding and teaching approaches, introducing innovative methods to their classrooms.

Règles

Volunteers are required to follow C4C's housing regulations, including adhering to Vietnamese laws, maintaining a clean living space, and refraining from returning late or staying overnight away from the accommodation.
