My time at the hostel was fantastic and Ive decided to stay and volunteer a bit longer. Rafa is a great guy welcoming guy and very friendly. The owners are also fantastic people, they only speak spanish, so it really helps in practicing. The actual work itself is very easy. The hostel is still setting up their restaurant bar area, so there's not too much work. During my time here, there hasn't been a large amount of guests, but it's a new hostel and the facilities are nice, so I expect there will be a big boom in the coming months.

I stayed for just over a month at the hostel, where I did some cleaning and reception tasks (all of which were very easy and chill). I really appreciated the warm welcome and the delicious meals I had. However, miscommunication with the boss was quite frequent and on several occurrences I found myself having to work outside of my shift because of such miscommunications. I also didn't consistently receive lunch as agreed upon on WP (though when I did, it was incredible, thanks to Ulysses and Milagro). On the whole, it was an ok experience : pleasant enough, but could be better.
