Volunteer Placement in Ghana

L'expérience

We are accepting volunteers who are interested in assisting children in general education, computer lessons, healthcare workers and general developmental projects. We do volunteer placement at several orphanages we sponsor, deaf school, primary schools, community health centers, women development groups, and students exchange programs. Volunteers will also get to explore tourist and cultural sites in Ghana at the end of their voluntary service.

Détails du programme

You submit your application through worldpackers or directly to us through our website at https://www.el-royskepghana.com/about-us/ with your information and your area of interest. Once your application is approve we will work with your to develop an activity plan and travel arrangements to Ghana. You will have an online orientation and how to prepare for your trip. A staff will pick you up at the airport in Ghana and travel with you to your final destination. You will have two days stay in Accra to visit interesting sites and landmarks and also take time to adjust.

Activités et horaires

The volunteer will have 4 hours work day and four days work a week. The volunteer can have weekend activities with some kids at one of our schools, orphanage or community. We have swimming pool trips, market trips, cultural site trips, and weekend drumming and dance event. Volunteer could also take a weekend trip to a closer tourist site. We provide bicycles for rent at discount price. Volunteer can also buy a bicycle or use public transport to and from work.

Règles

For the safety of the volunteer we advice all volunteers relate with coordinator for any travel plans, activities and movement. We also have a volunteer guide to take volunteer to places of their interest. We do not recommend volunteers making any travel plans without informing the volunteer guide or coordinator. We also advice the volunteer to stick to the organization policies and procedures. Volunteers can also share their displeasure with the coordinator, director at any point of their stay. Our goal is to keep the volunteer safe and sound. We are a very profession, friendly and accommodating organization whose goal is to utilize the volunteer expertise and also make sure the volunteer has the best time of their stay in Ghana.
