How Our Volunteer Program Works

Our volunteer program is designed to provide a meaningful and impactful experience for both volunteers and the local communities we serve. Here’s a detailed overview of how our program functions:

1. Application Process
Interested volunteers begin by submitting an application through our online platform, website, social media messaging and others. Once the application is reviewed, you will be contacted for an interview to discuss your motivations, skills, and expectations. This helps us ensure a suitable match for your interests.

2. Pre-Departure Preparation
Upon acceptance into the program, you will receive a comprehensive orientation package. This includes information on the cultural, social, and environmental aspects of Tanzania, as well as logistical details about travel, accommodation, and health. Additionally, we will provide resources to help you prepare for your role as a football coach.

3. Arrival and Orientation
Once you arrive in Arusha, you'll receive a warm welcome from our dedicated team. We conduct a detailed orientation session, which includes an introduction to the community, local customs, and a thorough overview of your volunteering responsibilities. This includes settling into your accommodation and meeting fellow volunteers and local coaches.
