Fue mi primer voluntariado y salió todo muy bien. El lugar es lindo, cómodo y con buena energía. Lara y Lauti, los dueños, son súper accesibles y con una onda muy piola. Ronald y Edith también hicieron de la estadía muy divertida y amena. Conocí gente muy copada de distintos lugares, y las tareas fueron tranquilas y claras, así que la experiencia fue fácil de llevar. Muy recomendado para conocer La Fortuna, que es un lugar mágico!

I had a super great time at the hostel!!! the work was as agreed - 6 5 hour shifts which were pretty chill. breakfast was not provided unfortunately, and only basic ingredients were provided to cook lunch. lara and lautaro were very welcoming, as were aron and ronald. what made this experience so great was the amazing volunteer team we had!!! we had so much fun and became so close in such a short time, i loved them all so much. this is a great experience and i would recommend

I had such a great time at the hostel and made so many friends. the job was pretty easy, however it's important to know that breakfast is not included! you get to cook one meal a day with the basic ingredients provided. there is lots to do in la fortuna, but the days can be long sometimes when the hostel is a bit quieter. i had a super awesome experience and am very grateful to lara, lautaro, ronald, and aron!!! i would definitely recommend this experience, however be mindful you definitely need fluent english and beginner spanish, or vice versa!! it's super fun and i loved it

I had such a good time in the hostel! Laura and Lautaro are super nice hosts. But the people that made me feel like at home were the workers (Ronald, David y Aron and my special Marimar) and all the other volunteers. You work as said - 6 days per week, 5 hours shifts. The schedule for the next week is given to you on Sunday, so you can plan your week accordingly. Upon your arrival you will be given a training for becoming the best the hostel receptionist :)! Everything is straightforward, fun and easy. The work includes making beds, checking in guests, reserving tours and helping the guests in gener

Tuve unas semanas maravillosas en el hostel, Lara y Lautaro fueron muy amables al recibirme y el personal del hostel es maravilloso. Mis responsabilidades y beneficios fueron claros desde el primer momento y todo estuvo muy bien organizado, incluso pude acceder a distintos tours pagando muy poco o gratis, el hostal está impecable y super bien equipado, lo recomiendo totalmente, me encantó esta experiencia y me dolió mucho irme del hostel :(

Una experiencia muy enriquecedora, Lautaro y Lara son unas personas muy humildes y agradables, te comunican todo ha detalle desde un inicio, y están para ti sí necesitas algo. También son muy flexibles con los Horarios y te ofrecen hacer diferentes tours gratis. Recomendaría quedarse en este hostel a cualquiera. Muchas gracias por todo muchachos!

El hostel fue mi primer voluntariado y no podría haber sido de otra manera. Lara es una mujer eficiente, rápida, super trabajadora y muy agradable. Desde el primer minuto me atendió super bien, nos mandaba los horarios de la semana para poder organizarnos con tiempo, nos ofrecía muchísimos tours, nos incitaba a crear comunidad con el equipo y siempre esta dispuesta a hablar de sus experiencias para que cojas ideas de cara a tus futuros voluntariados y viajes. Los chicos que trabajan en el hostal son muy agradables, serviciales y te ayudan con todas las dudas que tienes. ✨

Working at the hostel was so nice and a fun experience! It's a new hostel that I would consider very fancy in the backpacking world and is a very comfortable space. I liked working there in the calm environment, the work wasn't too difficult, and I had fun hanging out with the other volunteers. I would say that it isn't the most social hostel I've experienced but being there with other volunteers made it still fun and once in awhile you get to meet some really fun guests:) one big bonus was that the kitchen is so nice, which is such a win when you are travelling so much in Central America.
