We need volunteers to help us cutting grass, gassing up boats, random carpentry projects, painting, cooking, cleaning. Basically just the up keep of a few buildings & helping guests.

Ce que vous recevez

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Tente: Vous dormirez dans une tente sur un site de camping.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Visites gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons faire des visites et des balades en ville. Gratuitement !

Transfert: Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre arrivée et vous emmènerons à notre propriété.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Détails du programme

We offer accommodation, which would either be a shared cabin or tent space depending on how busy we are. We are an Island Fishing Lodge on Lake of the Woods, Ontario that offers Cabins & Guided Tours. Basically I’m offering meals, accommodation & a fishing/wilderness experience in exchange for helping with the work around the Lodge.

Myself (26) and my best friend (25) Run the lodge and we have enough employees to keep the Lodge running but I thought it could be a cool experience for us and people travelling to come volunteer and it just makes the overall summer more enjoyable.

We’ve both travelled, done ski seasons, backpacked & stayed lots of weird random places and a lot of them were some of our best memories so given the opportunity we thought we’d try to do the same.

Activités et horaires

I’m pretty whatever on what tasks, if you want to cut grass that’s fine, if you’d like to work in the kitchen or help guests with their boats, there’s ton of different options as long as you’re willing to help.

Règles

Not really a ton of rules just can’t be too rowdy most of our clients are older but the island is very large so there’s always room to hangout somewhere. Just be respectful.
