L'expérience

We are Helena and Andy , living in a beautiful and peaceful village located on the border of Galicia and León. Surrounded by mountains and situated next to a national park it´s great for someone who loves outdoor activities slow pace and wildlife.
We are in a process of renovation a stone house using as much recycle stuff and natural materials as possible.

Chambre privée: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre privée. En d'autres termes, une chambre rien que pour vous.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Visites gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons faire des visites et des balades en ville. Gratuitement !

Vélos à votre disposition: Vous pouvez utiliser nos vélos quand vous le souhaitez.

Cours de langue: Suivez des cours de langue gratuits chez nous.

Détails du programme

We are looking for someone to help us with the renovation. We can teach you various house building skills such as installing doors and windows, renovating stone work using tradition lime mortar. Laying foundations installing lintels etc. Also Spanish or English if you are interested.
If you have experience in building off grid low budget houses or gardening or if you are a creative person thinking off the box will be a bonus.

Activités et horaires

A normal day consisits in having breakfast and starting at 9:30am , doing whatever jobs need to done. (at the moment I´m installing workbenches in my workshop so bits of joinery etc. but over the next months we are going to installing ceilings, floating stairs, windows doors, pointing stonework using traditional materials.

We finish around 3 pm and we have a main meal together,

We provide snacks for your dinner , such us eggs, bread, milk, spreads,sausages......

We have pets (A dog called Scrappy) and 3 cats( Iggy , Rass and Snowy) that need feeding and walking ,if we are not here , apart from that , it`s pretty relaxed.

You´ll have the weekends free and the camino de santiago is very close by or you can get a lift with us if we are going to city or wherever. There are other people in the village but they are mostly here at the weekends during the week it´s really quiet just the wildlife and us to keep you company or if you are happy with on your own it´s no problem .
