Ce que vous recevez

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Détails du programme

We need help with housekeeping and cooking. Some repairs or painting work would also be greatly appreciated. Any other skills are welcome, such as photography or others :-)

We are looking for individuals with the following personal qualities:
You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibility and flexibility are essential. A genuine passion for helping others is highly valued, as is the ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.

Tranøy is located quite literally at the end of the road, at the northern tip of Hamarøy. Just 3 kilometers from Tranøy Lighthouse, you’ll find the small village of Tranøy—a place that evokes a deep sense of nostalgia. Set in picturesque surroundings, you can wander among the historic, dignified houses that reflect the prosperity of bygone days.

At Tranøy Lighthouse itself, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. You can try stand-up paddleboarding, go fishing, or simply unwind and take in the breathtaking surroundings. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, Tranøy has something to offer for everyone.

Reaching Tranøy Lighthouse is fairly easy, with good transport connections by ferry or bus from Bodø. The lighthouse is connected to the mainland by a bridge and is easily accessible for everyone.

Activités et horaires

We will arrange the shifts together. It depends on how many guests we have. Usually the work is flexible and will give you plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Work Tasks Include:
Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the kitchen with preparing meals and presenting them to our guests. 🥘🍽️
General Assistance: Help with various tasks based on your skills and the needs of our team. This can range from maintenance to helping with events. 🔧✨
Housekeeping and Laundry: Clean guest rooms, maintain cleanliness in common areas, and handle laundry duties. 🧼🛏️

Règles

In the low season there is a good chance you will be staying alone on the island. I will never be far away since I live in a town 15 minutes away. Still it is good to be comfortable with being alone for some time.

The weather can be unpredictable and quite harsh, so I'm looking for people who are up for whatever nature brings. Sometimes we have storms other times we have beautiful sun, please only apply if you are up for both and maybe even find this exciting.
