The hostel was the perfect location in the center of Edinburgh, close to all the sites, like Edinburgh Castle, the hostel Gardens, Dean Village, Arthur's Seat, and countless museums. If you come during the start of the Christmas season like I did, be sure to check out the Christmas market and other festive activities! Yann was really nice and wonderful, and my volunteer hours were really good, so I could spend the rest of the day exploring the city, which was especially gorgeous at the end of autumn.

Such a great experience at the hostel that I've ended up extending my stay! Yann and the team are all lovely and I've made some amazing friendships. The work is exaclty as agreed upon. The vibe of the hostel is quiet and tidy, so perfect if you are looking for a relaxed experience while still being right in the heart of Edinburgh!

I really enjoyed volunteering at Princess St - the work is easy and there is a lot of clear communication. It's run very efficiently and the whole team is so nice and relaxed which makes the hostel feel homey! Thanks Yann, Marcy, and everyone else :)

I loved my stay at the hostel. The whole team were so welcoming and Yann is so friendly, funny and easy going. The work wasn't hard for volunteers (2-2.5 hours a day in the morning, 5 days a week). The hostel is kept so clean, I could tell that Yann and his team care about doing a good job. I would highly recommend and I will hopefully be coming back next year.

I loved my time at the hostel St Hostel! Yann, Marcy, and the whole team were so helpful and kind. The hostel uses a mix of workers and volunteers so there's always clear leadership and people with experience. The work was clearly organised and the hours minimal, allowing you plenty of time to get out and explore.

I was immediately welcomed by the team, and the hostel quickly felt like home! The work (two hours of hsk per day) was easy, and everything was clearly communicated. I would highly recommend volunteering at the hostel with Yann and the team!

Laura was an amazing addition to our team. She worked hard, motivated others and cared about the work. She was bubbly, energetic and respectful to all of the team, quickly becoming everyones favourite. A hard worker to let go of for sure!

I 100% recommend volunteering. Yann is very kind and his hostel is very nice and clean, it's a pleasure to work there. The work is about 2 hours a day, well organized and the hostel is very well located. Both the people who work there and the other volunteers were very kind as well. 😁
