Hi, I'm Marius, aged 65+,looking for help in rural area of Maramures County,Transylvania.
Our property is situated in a natural park of 1.5 hectares , near the forest.
On the property we have a guesthouse and a hostel for backpackers. There are also terraces, outdoor swimming pool, sports ground, a dog and a cat.
The type of help we need is about : gardening ,weeding, maintenance, renovation, small DIY projects, housekeeping .

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Détails du programme

Being located practically in the middle of nature, near the forest , we try to keep the green area as much natural as possible, in a controlled mode. You will learn about organic agriculture, about harvesting fruits and processing them into traditional products: jams, juice or other drinks and also develop some practical skills.
You will learn about Romanian cuisine, as well as some basic Romanian words.

Activités et horaires

The volunteering time will be 4-5 hours daily ,5 days a week, in a flexible manner. The days off could be not on weekends , depending on the needs. If you are a digital nomad , the working time can be adjusted upon your needs.
In your time off, you can use the facilities of our location (without disturbing the guests),or visit the beautiful places of Maramures region. You can go hiking on the mountains, visit the tourist attractions: Merry Cemetery, UNESCO Heritage wooden churches or monuments,the steam train, discover the unspoiled traditions and culture .
When possible , we'll go together for trips around , or local events.

Règles

It is preferable that the volunteers have cooking skills to prepare their own meals from ingredients provided by the host. If there are more volunteers at the same time, preparing and eating the meals together, would be part of cultural exchange.
