Harry, was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome right away. I had the opportunity to connect with both locals and other travelers, which made the experience even more enriching. The tasks were simple and enjoyable—primarily chatting with adult students in the evenings after their classes and helping them improve their English pronunciation. The Vietnamese students were warm, eager to share their culture, and genuinely curious to learn about mine. Additionally, there are plenty of small, authentic local restaurants nearby with delicious food at very affordable prices. Great experience!

We had a lovely stay. The work part was easy and enjoyable - chatting with very friendly locals who want to practise their English is very fun and we learned lots about Vietnamese culture, what to do in Hanoi, etc. The house is very sociable and full of both international and local people, and is relaxed. We were able to chat a lot and share aspects of our cultures. It is quite far from the centre of Hanoi but we travelled in a few times within our stay on one bus which took around 1 hour. The area around the house is very quiet but had some lovely cafes and was an ideal location to recharge.
