I spent an incredible 2 months with Eliza and David. I wanted to learn about both homesteading and carpentry, so helped Eliza with the autumn harvest, as well as David with the earthship-inspired house build. The tasks were varied and always felt rewarding, and never felt like 'work.' I felt a sense of purpose and that each task was an important cog in the grand scheme of things. The meals Eliza whipped up were always incredibly delicious, my accommodation was cosy, and I got to learn and laugh a lot + go on adventures. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I'm so grateful for it.

I had an amazing time at the project! All of the work and room and food (fresh from the garden) was as described and very fair. I learnt a lot about carpentry and gardening and loved the cozy loft I stayed in! Eliza and David were always very welcoming and accommodating in flexibility in the scheduling. I got the chance to meet many locals and was invited to participate in all the events including Midsummer which was an experience I am very glad I could take part in! I had an amazing time and it was the perfect first Worldpackers experience!
