Syntropic Agroforestry and Holistic Grazing Farm needs your help

L'expérience

We are a small family farm that is experimenting with new forms of agriculture, mainly syntropic agroforestry, and holistic grazing. There is an established olive grove with 600 trees, and a vineyard growing Syrah and Catarratto grapes. There are also chickens and sheep on site.

The work consists of making compost, planting trees, taking care of the sheep and chickens, and greenhouse.

Détails du programme

We are looking for people specifically interested in syntropic agroforestry as most of our efforts are around developing a 3-hectare demonstration site. Interest in internet technologies is also a bonus as we are doing digital monitoring, verification, and reporting efforts using smart phones and computers.

Activités et horaires

The activities include tree planting, soil making, greenhouse management. There's also an opportunity to help in the olive garden, vineyard, and with animal upkeep.
