I am very happy to chose the school to volunteer.. Agus is very hospitable and welcomed us to his home. He was like our private guide showing us around Pati. On our free day we went to the lake with the teachers and it was really nice. 🤗 We tried a looot of different local food and got a true cultural experience. 😋 You can choose what classes you want to teach. Children are sometimes a bit shy at first but always very excited to see volunteers. It was really a heartwarming to see them excited. ✨ Agus and all teachers are all very friendly and I enjoyed all our time and classes together.🫶

Such an amazing environment, with great people and delicious food hahaha The host, Agus, is really committed with the development of his students and has a great vision for the future of his project. I do wish to come back in the future to see it. Apart from that, the team is composed of great teachers and incredible people. I loved my stayed here and I regretted to not stay longer haha if wasn't for my visa I would definitely help for some more days. I highly recommend that experience. Thanks for everything and I wish you guys all the best.

Agus and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. They helped me to feel at home while giving me an amazing opportunity to immerse in local culture. Agus' vision for the future of the school is inspiring. He has really focused and put his heart into his community. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him and his family and the students. I highly recommend this experience to other volunteers.

I loved the kids/students. They were really sweet and it was fun to teach and get to know them a little. Agus and his wife Tika were also really friendly and made me feel welcome, but their 5-year-old daughter Arrumi was my favourite ;) It was easy to create a schedule together and he let me decide how many classes I wanted to teach, so it was pretty flexible. During the weekends we made some trips - I loved trying out Batik! Otherwise it's pretty quiet during the day in between classes, so I would recommend it to everyone who's good with being on their own and wants a break of hostel life.

I did the volunteering for 11 days. Wawan, Tika and the daughter Arrumi are an amazing, lovely, welcoming family! Wawan and Tika showed and explained me a lot about the indonesian culture. On free afternoons/evenings we did some trips to the mountains, to do some batik, ... I also liked teaching the students. It's really interesting and varied. You teach students every age from 5 to ... Wawans school is great! Also all the teachers are welcoming and just awesome :) Saying goodbye was hard. I enjoyed my time staying there a lot and I can definitely recommend it!! Thanks for everything <3

I'm deeply grateful for the incredible experience I had while teaching kids in Pati with Wawan and his team. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality extended by Wawan, Tika and Arrumi was nothing short of extraordinary. Their genuine care made me feel welcome and at home. The support and encouragement I received were truly inspiring. Their deep commitment to education and their genuine interest in my well-being made my time there not just productive, but deeply fulfilling. The kids are amazing!! I had a really great time in Pati! Agus and Tika are wonderful people and they made me feel very comfortable during my stay. The english lessons were fun! I created my own game and played it with the children and teenagers. Adults also came to the english class which was a nice change. Outside of the lessons Agus showed me some things in the neighborhood. I created my own batik pattern in a batik factory and we went to a beautiful lake with his family. Arrumi the little daughter is very sweet and smart. Thankyou Agus and Tika for the wonderful days with you, I really enjoyed it!

Amazing experience! I had an amazing time in Pati with Angus and his amazing family. The students are all super hard working and it's easy to speak with them. The perfect place if you really want to get to know the people and culture.

My time with Agus and Tika was just great! They are super nice and welcoming, made me feel at home. They also made sure to show me around and introduce me to tradicional foods, which made the experience even better! Arrumi (their daughter) and Tabby (their cat) made the stay even more fun. The students are good and most appreciate the opportunity to talk to someone different, and the workload is super chill. I was working during my time there, and had plenty of time to do it. There isn't much to do around, but the experience is very immersive and you really see how locals live - which I loved!

One of the best experiences I have had in Indonesia. Wawan and Tika are wonderful people as is their adorable daughter Arrumi. I felt at home and the English classes were very dynamic and fun. The people in Pati are very welcoming and it was a pleasure to spend my first Ramadham with them, it was quite an experience. I hope to see you again soon!
