L'expérience

We are a mixed married indonesian / german family and take Volunteers to help us farming organic coffee which we process and roast by ourselfes located beside Leuser National Park. 90% of our property is either jungle or in progress of reforestation in which you can help as well. Our main building is still under construction but usable and we have always some side projects going where you can learn and help in natural Building with cob and wood

Détails du programme

We run a private initiated conservation / reforestation project on which you can directly or indirect participate by planting trees and helping at our organic coffee arm which we use as source of income and for financing out projects. Volunteers experience a familiar and relaxed atmosphere and are welcomed as friends if not family members. We are new on worldpackers but have lot of experience from other platforms with very good reviews and ratings.

Activités et horaires

Activities of Volunteers vary from harvesting coffee, help maintaining our Fruit Orchard and Garden as well as help in various Natural Building Projects with wood bamboo and cob. You can support our reforestation project by planting trees and clearing land from bushes. All Activities are depending on your skills and interests. You can independently manage your working time and free time. In exchange for your help we will Trek with you in the jungle and you have a good chance the local wildlife in the jungle and directly on our Farm. Our property is remote, offgrid and surrounded by Forest.

Règles

When staying with us you will experience an easy going atmosphere and we will treat you as member of our family. We cook and eat our meals together and you can of course retreat if you want private time.
