We had a wonderful week in Costa Rica! Isa was an amazing guide, she took care of everything and made sure we could relax and enjoy without worrying about logistics. We had so much fun visiting the beaches, seeing all the wildlife, snorkeling, and rafting while also giving back through the recycling workshop, participating in the local community, and cleaning up the beach. Thank you so much for the adventures!

This was such a beautiful and meaningful experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the organization welcomed us with so much kindness and heart—it truly felt like home. While we came with the intention of giving back through the organization, we were deeply poured into as well. The team fully immersed us in the culture, the community, and the purpose behind their work in a way that felt so genuine. I left feeling connected, inspired, and incredibly grateful for this experience.

Was an amazing experience! Had so much fun, the food was great, and the hosts really made sure we got the most out of our experience. Milo, pipa, munchies, and (penny? I forget her name) were the sweetest dogs and chamani was such a sweet cat. I didn't know much Spanish, but everyone was so nice and encouraging I really learned a lot. Being so surrounded in nature and learning ways to protect it truly was life changing!

The organization was such a wonderful stay. We all enjoyed the environment and hospitality of Fede and his team. I always felt very safe and like the host went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and were always having a good time. I really loved their involvement and laid back attitude and yet the way everything ran was so smooth and you could see it was a well loved and respected space.

This was a very beautiful experience. It was my first solo trip ever and I wouldn't want anything to be any different than it already was. Our host, Jeanette is the sweetest person ever and she contributed SO MUCH in making this experience so spiritual and amazing. I met so many amazing people and saw so many things through this trip. Isabela ensured that we had what we needed at all times while being a really fun friend to hang out with! The entire team did a super great job and I am glad I chose this experience.

What a month it has been at the organization! We have loved every minute whether supporting the recycling project, social project or just supporting the daily running of the organization. The location is beautiful, only a 10 minute walk from the beach and town of Puerto Viejo. The team took us in like family and we wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Our first Worldpackers experience was very special and has set a very high standard for future volunteering. The location is stunning — immersed in rainforest yet close to the stunning beaches. The hosts and staff welcomed us like family. The work was meaningful and values-driven, and we'll carry those lessons with us on our travels. We hope this won't be the last time our paths cross and are very grateful for the experience.

Muy tranquilo el voluntariado en la sede de Cahuita. Escuchas y ves animales distintos todos los días. Lo incómodo es convivir con mosquito, pero con mosquetero y buen repelente sobrevives. Está cerca el paradero para poder recorrer la zona. Agradecida de la estadía y de cada persona que conocí en este voluntariado !

Ótima experiência, recomendo muito pra quem gosta de voluntariado com propósito e conexão. Os membros são muito legais e a praia de cocles que fica 10 minutos de bicicleta é um paraíso. O hostel é agradável, além das comidas serem boas, todos os dias havia café da manhã e a janta pontualmente 18pm, então você tem que estar atento a este horário pra não perder. Há tarefas diárias de cuidados da casa, algumas com horários fora do horário de trabalho, o que dificultava a flexibilidade de ir e voltar do centro/praia. Então deve se estar comprometido e atento aos horários, que será fantástico :)
