We are looking for an extroverted and enthusiastic volunteer to take charge at reception and create a weekly activity for guests.

We provide a shared room at the nearby staff house (with A/C), a shared kitchen, laundry machine, profesional deep-cleaning once a week, and free access to Néctar's facilities and classes! Typically, there are two workout classes daily at Néctar: one more strenuous and the other a yoga class! All we ask is that volunteers help set up and clean up if they attend the class.

During your free time, you’ll have access to the amenities that NĂ©ctar has to offer — including a swimming pool, two jacuzzis, a terrace, coworking spaces, and tons of places to relax.

Estamos buscando un voluntario extrovertido y entusiasta para hacerse cargo de la recepción y crear una actividad semanal para los huéspedes.

Ofrecemos una habitaciĂłn compartida en la casa del personal en frente del hotel (con aire acondicionado), cocina compartida, lavadora, limpieza profesional una vez a la semana, y acceso gratis a las instalaciones y clases en NĂ©ctar! Por lo general, hay dos clases de entrenamiento diarias en NĂ©ctar: Una mĂĄs extenuante y la otra una clase de yoga! Lo Ășnico que pedimos es que los voluntarios ayuden a configurar y limpiar si asisten a la clase.

Durante tu tiempo libre, tendrås acceso a las comodidades que Néctar ofrece, que incluyen una piscina, dos jacuzzis, una terraza, espacios de coworking y muchos lugares para relajarte.


Activités et horaires

What We Ask:

We ask our volunteers to be at reception for 3 shifts of 8 hours every week. A total of 24 hours of receptionist work per week. On days when there's no bartender present, the receptionist may be asked to serve beer and mezcal at the hotel bar. No prior bartender experience is needed.

Volunteers should have a friendly, outgoing attitude when interacting with guests. The most successful volunteers make an effort to remember guest’s names, ask them about their day, and assist with any inquiries. We will prioritize applicants with a friendly, optimistic demeanor.

We also ask volunteers to create one community-building experience per week for the guests. Volunteers can get creative and show off their unique talents and interests! Volunteers are responsible for the promotion of their planned event. This should take up about 2 hours of the volunteer’s time every week.

Lo que pedimos:

Pedimos a nuestros voluntarios que estén en recepción por 3 turnos de 8 horas cada semana. Un total de 24 horas de trabajo de recepcionista por semana. Los días que no hay bartender, se le puede pedir a la recepcionista que sirva cerveza y mezcal en el bar del hotel. No se necesita experiencia previa como bartender.

Los voluntarios deben tener una actitud amigable y extrovertida al interactuar con los huéspedes. Los voluntarios mås exitosos hacen un esfuerzo para recordar los nombres de los huéspedes, preguntarles sobre su día y ayudar con cualquier consulta. Daremos prioridad a solicitantes con actitud amigable.

TambiĂ©n pedimos a los voluntarios que gestionen una actividad por semana para crear communidad con los huespedes. ÂĄLos voluntarios pueden ser creativos y mostrar sus talentos e intereses Ășnicos! Esto deberĂ­a tomar 2 horas del tiempo del voluntario.


RĂšgles

- Take care of Néctar property provided to you. Report any maintenance issues or damage to property immediately.
- Be kind and courteous to other staff members.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards guests at all times.
- Clean up after yourself when using common spaces, including the off-campus shared kitchen.
- Do not consume food or drink that is not yours in the shared kitchen.
- Be punctual and reliable for your scheduled shifts, showing up 10 minutes early to each shift.
- Respect guests' privacy and personal space, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Sexual harassment of guests, including inappropriate comments, gestures, or behavior, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- If a problem should arise, communicate it clearly with the team to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including fire safety procedures.
- Be mindful of noise levels, especially during quiet hours.
- Always handle personal and confidential information with discretion and care.
- The dress code is very relaxed, just be presentable and show your personality!
- Treat all guests and staff with respect, regardless of the guest’s background, culture, race or beliefs.
