Mi experiencia fue increíble, la repetiría una y mil veces! Conocí mucha gente, me divertí mucho y también aprendí. El ambiente del hostel me encanto, buenas vibras y pura vida. Puerto viejo creo que es un gran destino para hacer un voluntariado, ya que tiene mucho que hacer, donde moverse fácilmente, paisajes hermosos, animales, gente muy amable y buena fiesta, Gracias sinceras, el hostel se llevó mi corazón <3

Muy buena experiencia en el hostel. El lugar es increíble para conocer gente de todo el mundo, lugares lindos y disfrutar de la vida en Puerto Viejo. El hostal tiene buenas instalaciones, las bicis fueron buenisimas para recorrer las distintas playas y siempre habían buenas vibras entre los huéspedes, voluntarios y quienes trabajan ahí. Recomiendo muchísimo ser voluntario en el hostel!!

Volunteering at the hostel and el clan was one of those experiences that leave a mark on you. From day one, the vibe of the place made me feel at home, surrounded by amazing people and an environment that seems like something out of a dream :) I had the opportunity to develop my marketing skills while collaborating with a team that supported me every step of the way. I leave with a heart full of gratitude and a lot of desire to come back. thank you for so much! 🤍✨

I had an amazing time staying at the hostel! The working hours are good, the hostel is very clean and has a very nice hang out area. Loved the bikes. Could not recommend this place enough! I had some amazing weeks here!

The hostel was an AWESOME place to volunteer at! I had so much fun bartending and coordinating activities, especially karaoke! The other volunteers made it feel like home for the month I was there. It's a very social hostel, and you'll have no trouble making friends with those around you. I was a little bummed because me and another volunteer had to work an extra shift because they didn't get another person to help staff the bar, and they didn't offer to compensate us or say thank you. I think if a meal a day was provided for us, I would rate this place 5 stars!

Agradecida por la experiencia de voluntariado. Sin embargo, la organización fue confusa: el encargado de voluntarios no vivía en el lugar y no sabíamos a quién dirigirnos ante problemas cotidianos. Compartíamos habitación con otra voluntaria cuya situación no estaba del todo definida y esto generaba ciertas tensiones. Además, esa persona solía invitar a otras personas a dormir en el espacio destinado a los voluntarios, lo que afectaba nuestra privacidad y sensación de seguridad. Con una mejor organización y más claridad en los roles, seria una experiencia aún mas enriquecedora para todos.

I had a nice experience in the hostel, the job was not hard and I like to do the reception. I had 3 days off to explore Puerto Viejo so that was great. The host Antonella is really nice and helpful if you need anything. I will say that it will be better if you talk Spanish because I felt a bit lost sometimes. Otherwise, Puerto Viejo is great and you will have time to discover and meet people. I had a really nice two weeks there.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at El Clan Hostel (part of the hostel). I worked at the pool bar, and the good vibes there made it a fantastic place to be. The staff made it even better – everyone is so nice, friendly, and welcoming. It's truly an amazing team to be part of! I'm very grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a rewarding volunteer experience.

Mi experiencia en CW fue inmejorable. Desde el punto de vista del trabajo, tienen muy bien organizadas las tareas, con sentido y carga de responsabilidad lógica y muy equilibrada para los voluntarios. Además, dejan la puerta abierta a que cada uno aporte su granito de arena y pueda desenvolverse o llevar las actividades a su manera, cosa que genera un espacio de trabajo muy cómodo y agradable. A nivel personal el trato que recibí fue perfecto, sintiéndome parte del staff y la familia que forma este hostal, teniendo la oportunidad de conocer, compartir y conectar con todos ellos. Gracias!
