Détails du programme

You will be living Off-Grid.
You can bring a tent to camp or sleep in your own vehicle. If you can't bring your own tent, sleeping bag and pillow I can provide one for you, let me know in advance!
We live Off Grid, in our case it means we are reliant on our solar panels for electricity and we get water from our well or the waterfountain in the town nearby. We aim to be as resourceful as we can. For the toilet we provide a bucket toilet to each person to use in their tent and we also have a toilet tent with a chemical toilet for the volunteers who prefer that option. The luxury at CatsVille is living together with nature.

You won't be expected to have prior experience, you will learn with us the skills you need.

Activités et horaires

The schedule and tasks will change depending on the time of the year.
Early morning you will let the poultry roam within the net area. Feed the poultry and change their water. Change the hay in the poultry's coop, and clean the chicken run. Separate the dirty hay to be used for gardening. Gather hay and put in the coop. Check on the bird's wellbeing.

Feed the cats, check that they have water and check their wellbeing.

Throughout the day maintain the coop area in condition. Fix things that are damaged. Help to make a lake for the animals. Improve and build more spaces for the birds. Grow plants, weeding, watering, build structures for planting.

At the end of the day do the same tasks as in the morning. Some of the tasks are only required to be done in the morning or at the end of the day. Put the birds away in their respective coops and close the gates.
