50 days spent here, difficult to describe this experience in words. It was incredible and it will stay with me for life. This is a real family, and you become part of it the second you step foot in the house. The school is amazing, the kids even more! I personally also got to do construction/farming work during the weeks there was no school, wich I enjoyed a lot. If you do not like this experience: you are the problem, not the experience. (Saying this cuz comment of vol. Lorena: absolute bullshit, 1: no malaria here 2: you were literally never doing anything except sitting on the 💺

No he podido elegir mejores anfitriones para realizar esta experiencia. Sin ninguna duda es la mejor decisión que he tomado en mi vida. Gracias por cuidarnos tanto, nos hemos sentido como en casa aún estando tan lejos. Enmanuel y Lydia son las mejores personas que he conocido nunca. Estoy súper agradecida de haber podido compartir su vida un mes y de haber aprendido tanto de ellos. Gracias por todo el trabajo que realizáis día a día, tanto para todos los niños como para todos los voluntarios. No cambiaría nada de esta experiencia. Espero veros muy pronto!

Venir a Uganda ha sido una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado en mi vida. Los días en la escuela estan llenos de juegos, risas, abrazos y mucho aprendizaje. El cariño y la alegría que recibes de los niños es inmeso. Emma y Lydia son muy acogedores, dispuestos a recibir tus opiniones y feedback. Se preocupan de que te sientas en casa, incluyendote como uno más de la familia. La fundación no solo ayuda y cambia la vida de los niños en la escuela, sino que también cambia la vida y el corazón de los voluntarios que se quedan en aquí.

I don't have words to express this volunteering but if you're looking for a REAL AFRICAN EXPERIENCE and you've an open heart, this is you're call. I've a family in Uganda and they've a home in Mexico. The hostesses, staff and children are truly and amazing persons, we have so much fun, I've experienced the culture, they're open to innovative ideas for the school and the whole Foundation. I've gave and received a lot, a LOT OF LOVE. You're the best volunteering guys and am so thankful for you to open your house and heart to this international travelers. Sis and bro, see you again!!!

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen better place to dedicate my time. Emma and Lidia are the most committed person I've known, completely focused on improving the life of many kids, giving them the tools to become better citizens and investing in their knowledge. Projects like these are the reason to cross the world to be part with. I loved the passion they demonstrated and the way they receive their volunteers as well. They made me feel as part of this special family that you don't want to say goodbye at the end. Thank you Emma and Lidia from my heart! :)

I had no idea what to expect when choosing this volunteer opportunity but it was an amazing experience. Lydia and Emma made me feel right at home and I loved getting to know all the kids that live there as well and will miss them dearly! Lydia and Emma are amazing people who are doing SO much to change children's lives. They're incredibly selfless and have become a second family. We will meet again someday! Love you all 💛

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY 28 DAYS IN UGANDA WITH MY HOST EMMA. These 4 weeks have been the most wonderful weeks and I am already missing them. Right from my arrival to my last day, everything was nearly perfectly. I miss the school, the kids and Wabulenga. Thank you Emma! ♥️

This was my first time as a volunteer and it was amazing! I recommended it to everyone. It is impossible to put into words everything I have experienced and felt during my month as a volunteer at the organization. Emma, lydia and the kids at home are incredible. They made me feel at home from the first day and now they are my family. During my month there, i helped Emma with the social media of the foundation but I also went to school and work as a teacher. The kids, the teachers and the staff at school are amazing. If you want to live the real african experience, this is for you
